David Ringsell painting - Roman BathsArt at Claremont

From July 11th until October 15th, we're excited to host New Views on Familiar Places - paintings by local artist David Ringsell.

The exhibition focuses on the power of painted images to make the viewer look with fresh eyes. The harmonious architecture of his home city Bath has inspired many recent paintings. He provides a contemporary take on classic architecture. There is a craftsman like attention to detail.

Originals and custom prints are available for purchase in a range of sizes. For more details see

The exhibition is open during normal café hours (Thursdays 10am - 2pm) and other times by arrangement.

All are welcome to join our regular activities at Claremont:

Midday Prayer

A number of times each week, we gather for prayers together. This is usually in the Celtic tradition and using liturgies from the Northumbria, Iona and Aidan & Hilda Communities. If it's nice, we'll make use of the garden and outside spaces. Otherwise, our prayer room or cosy foyer provide space to step aside into a different rhythm. Usually at 12:15pm and often on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  See Facebook  @ClaremontSpace and Twitter @ClaremontSpace for weekly updates.
